Turning to Islam Eliminate Previous Sins

Al-Hamdulillah, all praise belongs to Allah, Rabb of the worlds. Praise and greetings on Rasulullah - Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam-, his family and friends.
Fortunately for those who get the guidance of Islam. Only God's chosen people receive this guidance. Whoever Allah guides to Islam, no one can mislead. In the same way, whoever Allah strays from Islam then no one can give him guidance.
Is Abu Talib, the uncle of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam . His services to the person of the Prophet and his propaganda were extraordinary. However, he did not immediately accept his niece's invitation to convert to Islam. Until the end of his life, Rasulullah Sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam invited him to say Laa Ilaaha Illallaah. But he was reluctant to say the sentence monotheism. Until the last sentence that chose to remain above the religion of his father.
It is very sad that the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam . Until he decides to seek forgiveness for his beloved uncle. There came a rebuke from the heavens.
َّنَّكَ لَ تَهِدِي مَنْ ْحْبَبْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
"Of course you will not be able to guide those you love, but Allah guides those whom He wills, and Allah knows those who will receive guidance. ”(QS. Al-Qashash: 56)
Allah is very special to anyone who converts to Islam. He made his Islam a 'dowry' to erase the sins and sins he had committed before. If a non-Muslim convert to Islam then Allah forgave sins in his infidelity. After the circumcision, he became a saint of sin.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala said,
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا َن يَنتَهُوا يُغْفَرْ لَهُم مَّا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعُودُوا فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
" Tell the disbelievers, (Abu Sufyan and his companions) 'If they had ceased (from their disbelief), Allah would have forgiven their past sins; and if they come again (against the Prophet), the Sunnah (of Allah) against the people of the past will be fulfilled. ”(QS. Al-Anfaal: 38)
Narrated by 'Amr bin al-'Ash Radhiyallahu' Anhu who recounted his conversion to Islam. He said,
لَمَّا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ الإِسْلامَ فِي قَلْبِي أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : ابْسُطْ يَمِينَكَ فَلأُبَايِعْكَ . فَبَسَطَ يَمِينَهُ ، قَالَ : فَقَبَضْتُ يَدِي . قَالَ : مَا لَكَ يَا عَمْرُو ؟ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَشْتَرِطَ . قَالَ : تَشْتَرِطُ بِمَاذَا ؟ قُلْتُ : أَنْ يُغْفَرَ لِي . قَالَ : أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ الإِسْلامَ يَهْدِمُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَهُ
“When Allah made Islam in my heart, I came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam . I said: Stretch out your hand, and I will bless you.
Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam laid out his right hand.
He said: then I hold my hand (not shake the hand of the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam).
The Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam asked: What is it' Amr?
He said: I want to ask for conditions!
The Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam asked: What are your conditions?
So I said: For me to be forgiven.
So the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said: Do you not know that Islam actually removes the sins that were committed before. " (HR. Muslim)
A person who converts to Islam cannot be prosecuted and convicted of his crimes before converting to Islam, such as fighting Muslims. Likewise, his income from illegal means while still infidel becomes lawful and remains his right. Except for the property of another he stole or taken without his rights, he returned it to his owner. Such is the explanation of Shaykh Muhammad bin Shalih al-'Utsaimin rahimahullah .
In addition to forgiveness and forgiveness of sins, a new convert to Islam, then both his Islam, good deeds he had done will be multiplied in reward.
From Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu 'Anhu , the Prophet sallallaahu' Alaihi Wasallam said:
إِذَا أَحْسَنَ أَحَدُكُمْ ْسْلاَمَهُ فَكُلُّ حَسَنَةٍ يَعْمَلُهَا تُكْتَبُ بِعَشْرأَ أَمْثَالِهَا َلَى سْبْعِمِائِمِِم. وَكُلُّ سَيِّئَةٍ يَعْمَلُهَا تُكْتَبُ بِمِثْلِهَا حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللهَ
" If the goodness of one's Islam is among you, then every good he does will be written tenfold to seven hundredfold. The bad he did would be written once until he met Allah. (HR. Muslim)
From Justice bin Hizam radhiyallahu 'anhu , he said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you see the good deeds I did during my ignorance during shayqah, liberating slaves or hospitality still rewarding?" So the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said,
سْلَمْتَ عَلَى مَا سَلَفَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ
" You have converted to Islam along with all your former goodness. (HR. Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Blessed are those whom Allah shows to Islam and are good at Islam, Allah will forgive his sins and keep rewarding the good he has done while still infidels. May Allah strengthen the Islam of people who have just given their shahada like Deddy Corbuzier. Allah knows best.
