Glorious Beings with Worship to Allah

Al-Hamdulillah, all praise belongs to Allah, Rabb of the worlds. Praise and greetings on Rasulullah - Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam-, his family and friends.

Syaikhul Islam Ibn Taimiyah explained that the perfection of beings lies in the realization of their worship of Allah Ta'ala. Every time a servant increases his worship realization to God, his perfection will also increase and his degree will be higher.

Whoever thinks that coming out of one form of submission (worship) to God or not worshiping will be more or less glorified, he becomes the most ignorant and perverted creature.

Therefore, when Allah praises his servants from the angels and humans, Allah mentions the nature of their worship

God is talking about a noble angel,

" And they say:" The Most Gracious God has taken (children) ", Glory to God. Indeed, they are the glorified servants, they did not go before him in the word, and they did his orders. Allah knows all that is before them (the angels) and that which is behind them; ”(QS. Al-Anbiya ': 26-28)

Allah says about Noah 'alaihis salam ,

"( Ie) grandchildren of the people We brought with Noah. Indeed he is a servant (Allah) who is grateful. "(Surat al-Isra ': 3)

Allah says about David 'alaihis salam,

“ And remember the strength of our servant David; indeed he is very obedient. “(QS.Shaad: 17)

Allah says about the Prophet Sulaiman 'alaihis salam,

" And unto David, Solomon, give we him that is a good servant. Indeed, he is very obedient. ”(QS. Shaad: 30)

Allah says about the Prophet Ayyub 'alaihis salam,

" And remember the servant of Our Ayubub when he called upon his Lord:" Truly I am troubled by evils and afflictions. " ”(QS. Shaad: 41)

Allah says about Prophet Ibrahim, Ishaq, and Ya'kub 'alaihimus sholatu wassalam,

“ And remember our servants: Abraham, Ishaq and Ya'qub, who have great deeds and great knowledge. ”(QS. Shaad: 45)

Allah says about the Prophet Jesus ' alaihis salam ,

" Jesus is nothing more than a servant to whom We have bestowed (prophecies) and We have made him a sign (proof of the power of God) for the Children of Israel. ”(QS. Al-Zukhruf: 59)

And Allah says about our Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam ,

" Glory be to Allah, who guided his servant one night from the Al-Mosque to the Al-Mosque Aqsha which We have blessed around him ... " (QS. Al-Isra ': 1)

When telling the righteous people besides the prophets and messengers, Allah also mentioned the nature of their worship,

" And the servants of the Most Merciful God (are) those who walk on earth humbly and when the ignorant greet them, they speak the words of salvation. ”(QS. Al-Furqan: 63)

“ (That is) the fountain (from heaven) from which the servants of Allah drink, to whom it is best to flow. ”(QS. Al-Insan: 6)

Life for Worship

Why does human glory lie in worship? Because Allah created jinn and humans only to worship Him alone.

" I created not the spirits and human beings but to worship me. " (QS. Al-Dzariyat: 56)

Ibn Kathir rahimahullah in his commentary explained that "I created them with the aim of telling them to worship me, not because I needed them."

Of the illustrious Illaa Liya'buduun , Ali bin Abi Thalhah narrated from Ibn Abbas, "That is, to make them worship me willingly or forcedly." While according to Ibn Juraij pronunciation the meaning is, "That they may know me."

Thus worship is a command that cannot be abandoned for any reason. Therefore, in order to guide mankind from mistakes in terms of worship, Allah also sent the Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam as a role model which of course all Muslims must follow (ittiba) in totality.

God has also made it possible for people to worship Him. Therefore, whoever performs his worship of Allah has walked in his image. Thus he obtains peace of mind and peace of soul. That is why he felt happiness. So this is the happiness of worshiping Allah.

There is a pearl of saying wisdom, "the rich think that happiness lies in wealth. The authorities feel that happiness is in power and position. The truth is happiness is in the worship of Allah ' azza wa jalla ." Allah knows best.
